Phase 4 - Thoughts (con't - again)

So all that's left it for me to somehow put all my images and "present" them
So what I thought I'd do is this; make a video with each image following each other in the order that they were changed/edited.

Ex. the original image first, my first change, Rei's change, Danny's change, and so on and so forth

But I'd name the images as v.(something). The (something) will be replaced with a roman numeral and will change after each pic to signal the arrival of the next one

Ex. v.I, then Original image, v.II, then second image, and so on and so forth

So after that's done and over with, I'm gonna upload my video to Youtube and put my process description in the Youtube video description thing, XDD

Phase 4 - Thoughts (con't - again)

So I found out a few loopholes in my assignment; I just needed 10 CHANGES not 10 people
So...What I did was find 10 people anyways and got them to do their changes, BUT
I edited the image twice myself; the first edit was my own and the final edit was mine as well

In the end, I now have 13 images

Phase 4 - Thoughts (con't)

So, including the first image, I have 10 final images

But I'd like to find three more people, preferably DIFFERENT people, to edit my image

Phase 4 - Thoughts (con't)

So far, I have had that image taken and edited 9 times
I've sent it to people whom I know have some credible experience with photoshop and image manipulation

And I'm liking what I've seen so far, ;)

Phase 4 - Thoughts (con't)

For my concept, I wanted to play with the idea behind the title of the game, and have that correspond with the number of images I want to have in the end stage

Since the name of the game is "Final Fantasy versus XIII", I wanted to end up with 13 final images, focusing on the "dark" atmosphere of the game, and incorporating that INTO the image

Phase 4 - Thoughts

So it's now May 6, and I've already started my Phase 4 assignment

I've decided to select the "1A" option, where I take an image off Google and send it around to different people to edit it

So I took a picture of a video game character by the name of "Noctis Lucis Caelum" form the upcoming video game, "Final Fantasy versus XIII"

This is the image I started with

Phase 3 - Thoughts (con't)

So I think I got my idea...;D

I'm going to have two pieces based on a "study session" that me and some of my classmates took part in

We were crazy noisy (does that even make sense...? XDD) so what I was thinking is that I can have two sessions of us "studying"

But here's the catch; no won't be able to tell when we're studying and when we're "studying"

In a lot of study sessions with 5+ people, there's usually a lot of noise, (especially since we were last-minute cramming.....:S)

All in all, you'll be confused as f***, XDD

You sure as hell won't be able to tell which is "constructed" an which is "real"

Phase 3 - Thoughts

Hoo boy...
It's now March, and Phase 3 is due in about 3 weeks or so

I'm supposed to create a "sound piece" that sounds like it was recorded along with a piece that actually WAS recorded.

So one being a recording of reality and one that is constructed

Now I think that this phase seems pretty easy to work with, for the most part, as I've had experience with recording and altering sound and with Audacity back in grade 10, XD

But I still use it from time to time if I wanna edit sounds for whatever reason

I've got some ideas for what my manufactured piece; I could take recordings of this online video game sound server called "Ventrilo" and edit the pieces as if people were talking right then and there; I've seen it done before, and to be honest, it's pretty damn hilarious, XDD

BUT, I'm not sure exactly how that could or would relate to phase 1 or 2

But I know for a fact that I will take the "realistic" sound and make it sound more "constructed" and for the constructed sound I'd make it sound more "natural" per se

Hmm....

Phase 2 - Thoughts (con't - again)

Ha HA!

I found the other sound I'm going to use for my "GMV"....hehehehe...

Watch from the time....1:45 to 1:51, where the guy says..."Per...so...na..."

Or watch the whole thing, 'cause it's cool like that, XDDD

But it still needs a little....something more...in terms of sound...
What could it be...?

Phase 2 - Thoughts (con't)

So it's now Wednesday afternoon, and I have a more concrete idea of what I'm gonna do with this video-assignment-thing, XD

I'm gonna create was is known as an "AMV" or Anime Music Video, or in this case, a "GMV", Game Music Video. What an AMV/GMV is is a vido comprised of various anime or video game scenes put together with background music in an attempt to make it look and sound appealin to anyone who happens to stumble across it.

Below is an example (that I made a WHILE ago, XD),

But, in this case, I'm going to use the same scenes repeatedly, in low, medium, and high quality, and arrange the scenes to a song, posted below,

BUT, I'm also going to add another sort of sound to this "GMV", though I've yet to discover the sound I'm going to use. Hopefully I'll figure out something by my next post, XDD

Phase 2 - Thoughts

So here we are; it's been like...the second day back. And just now I came up with what sorta videos I'd be using for this Phase 2 assignment. I'm gonna dive into a genre that I'm VERY familiar with; videos games. More specifically, the game Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

So during the strike, I've been looking for videos here and there; things that caught my interest. And so the game trailers for Final fantasy Versus XIII caught my interest, XD.

Though the game hasn't been released yet (and it's not coming this year.....DX), people can speculate what the game's about..sorta, XDD

But yeah, I've chosen to use video clips from the game Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and below is one of the trailers Ive seen/found

3 Month Hiatus

The name of the blog says it all. But as of Monday, we're back in class....(YEAH/NOO!)
